Tips for using your characters wisely
Use every character in your title
Your title is the most heavily weighted field for search. If you have 30 characters available, aim to use at least 25. Every unused character is a missed keyword opportunity.
Front-load your keywords
Put the most important keywords at the start of your title and description. The algorithm gives more weight to words that appear early, and users scan from left to right.
Don't repeat keywords across fields
On the App Store, words in your title are already indexed — don't waste subtitle or keyword field characters repeating them. Use each field to target different terms.
Use commas, not spaces, in the keyword field
Apple's keyword field uses commas as separators. Spaces after commas waste characters. Write timer, focus, productivity not timer, focus, productivity.
